Get active for a good cause at the Twyford Together Charity Family Fun Run. Year group races, stalls, refreshments and activities as well as a grand finale 3 x 250m grand finale relay for all. Plus, we’ll be running sprint races around Twyford Parish Council’s Coronation Grass Labyrinth throughout the morning. The Twyford Together Charity Family Fun Run is organised with the help of the team at The Shredquarters and sponsored by Grapevine Estate Agents . All profits pass to Twyford Charities Together.
When and where is it?
The Twyford Together Charity Family Fun Run is provisionally taking place on Sunday 4 October at King George V Recreation Ground in Twyford.
What’s the schedule?
- 9:00am: Registration and number pick-up
- 9:30am: Pre-school toddle (100m)
TODDLER PRIZE GIVING
- 10:00am: Reception and years 1 & 2 (1km)
INFANT SCHOOL PRIZE GIVING
- 10:30am: Years 3 & 4 (1km)
- 11:00am: Years 5 & 6 (2km)
- 11:30am: 3 x 250 metres grand finale relay (at least one team member must be aged 18 or under)
JUNIOR SCHOOL AND RELAY PRIZE GIVING

How do I enter?
Online entry opens a month before the event.
How much does it cost?
On the day entry costs:
- £5 per entrant for the pre-school toddle
- £8 per entrant for infant and junior races
- £8 per team for the relay race.
Parents are welcome to run alongside their children at no extra charge.
Are there prizes?
- Every relay runner gets a Decathlon wristband entitling you to £3 off your next purchase
- First place relay race team (3 x £15 Waitrose vouchers)
- Second place relay race team (3 x £10 Waitrose vouchers)
- Third place relay race team (3 x £5 Waitrose vouchers)
- First, second and third boy and girl in the toddler dash (Usborne Books gift)
- First, second and third boy and girl in the infant and junior races (Decathlon vouchers)
- Two lucky runners in the infant race (The Porcelain Pig voucher)
- Two lucky runners in the year 3 & 4 race (Rosie’s Chocolate Factory gift)
- Two lucky runners in the year 5 & 6 race (Costa Coffee, Twyford voucher)

Is there parking at the event?
There is limited parking at Loddon Hall, so please walk or cycle if you can.
Which charities do you support?
The Twyford Together Charity Family Fun Run supports Twyford Charities Together. The group was formed in 2011 to give local charities, often lacking their own fundraising team, a helping hand.
