Mobility Project

Mobility Project

Twyford Together’s Mobility Project was set up in association with The David Brownlow Charitable Foundation. The initiative helps residents with physical disabilities regain their independence.

How does it work?

The DBCF supplies mobility equipment, including electric wheelchairs and scooters. These are personalised to the needs of the individual.

How many have been provided?

Since 2013, over 30 electric wheelchairs and scooters have been provided to local residents in need of financial support. These wonderful pieces of equipment have given their new owners an opportunity to leave their home, visit friends and get around the village.
