Sun 26 Nov, Christmas Lights Switch-On

Twyford's Living Advent Calendar opens with the ever-popular Christmas lights switch-on at Bell Corner. Enjoy carol singing, drinks and nibbles and a display of festive drawings by Polehampton Junior school children. The tree has been donated this year by Treetop Landscapes and is powered by Parkers Estate Agents. Our special guest, David Brownlow from The David Brownlow Charitable Foundation will be joined by the winner of Junior Twyford's Got Talent.

Join us for a Christmas recital by The Berkshire Recorder Consort. The programme will include festive music from across the ages, played on a diverse array of instruments (some of which you will probably never have seen or even heard of before!) sprinkled with a selection of seasonal readings and yuletide carols.  Refreshments will be served afterwards.

Polehampton Infant School will be serenading Twyford shoppers with their favourite carols and songs from their nativity plays. They will be collecting for Daisy’s Dream, a charity close to their hearts.

Windsock Music is back again this year with more cheesy Christmas goodness from their two saxophone bands, Sax Bandits and Saxcelerate. Mulled wine and minced pies will be served. Everyone welcome so please like or share this event on Facebook

Christmas Eve, Crib Service

A half-hour Christmas Eve service for all the family. Children are welcome to dress up and help bring the Christmas story alive. Come in good time to get a seat.

Christmas Eve, Carols For All

When: 7pm
An hour of traditional carols, readings, reflections and prayers by candlelight to celebrate the birth of Christ. A wonderful way to end Advent.
